How To Build a Better Website

Website building is one of the most crucial components of digital marketing today. You can advertise all you want, but if your main website is hard to look at and navigate, then all that effort put into advertising renders it useless! Let's look at how a better website can be built.

First of all, it's important to ensure that your website has a clean and aesthetically pleasing design. Too much clutter and your users will find the website difficult to look at and use. This can be achieved by spreading out your content across the website. Be sure to utilize pages and clickable images! To make navigation easy for your users, use a lot of call-to-action buttons. This way, your users know exactly what they are doing on your website. To guarantee an aesthetically pleasing design, make sure you are keeping up with the trends. A few examples would be plenty of whitespace, split screen content and tailored illustrations. Whitespace will give your website a well-balanced feel, thus avoiding clutter. Split screen content does the same. This also allows you to spread your content across your website and tailored illustrations will craft your brand's identity. Another important thing to include on your website is a clear message. What is this website about? What can this company do for the user? How does one go about contacting the company? Having an "About" page will help. Here, other than your main message, you can include photos, posts or achievements that you would like to highlight. A great way to assure your users know what the website is about is by either making this the first page, or ensuring there is a clear button that will bring the users to that page. Finally, have a page where all your links are listed, that way your users can find your company on other platforms as well, thus increasing engagement. I hope this blog post helps you with your website building! Be sure to check out my very own website. It is a work in progress but it's getting there!
